6 Productive Quarantine Goals

6 Productive Quarantine Goals

Right now is obviously a hard time for all of us. We don't know when this will end, the final impact it'll have on society, or when we'll have answers to all of our questions.

You may have transitioned to working from home, or in some cases, unable to work at all. Cozying up on the couch all day and watching Friends reruns may seem like a relaxing way to distract yourself, which isn't a bad idea, but you could also spend this time focusing on more productive things rather than Netflix.

There are plenty of things we can't control. So let's focus on some of the things we CAN control during these uncertain times.

Here's 6 things you can control during your quarantine

1. Your Daily Schedule

Set up a daily routine and stick to it. Morning walks, cooking meals, time to read, work, workout, etc.

2. Your Diet

I can't tell you when things will return to normal, but I can tell you that eating junk for the next few weeks won't help anything. Get creative with what you can find at the grocery store. There's a few websites where you plug in what you have, and they tell you what meals you can cook with it. Like these apps.

3. Your Workouts

Home workouts aren't ideal, but you can still get some form of exercise in each day. Now is a great time to get outside for some cardio! We even put together some at home workout tips you can check out by clicking here.

4. Your Goals

Sit down and write out some quarantine goals for yourself. Knock out that home project you've been thinking of, start playing that new instrument, launch whatever fitness channel you've always dreamed of, etc.

5. Try Yoda/Mediation/Stretching

This is one habit I've added into my daily routine. Each day I've been following along with a 20-30 minute yoga routine on Youtube. Improve your flexibility and use that quiet time for a little stress relief.

6. Deep Cleaning and Tidying Up

When all else fails, you might as well knock out some spring cleaning.

Stay safe, stay clean, and most importantly... stay healthy!

We'll all get through this together!
